  "body_en_text": "across the full text\n\n-\n\nFull Text of Law 10727\n\nDeclaration of public interest of the tourist, ecological and cultural development of the cantons of Pococí, Siquirres, Matina, Talamanca and Central de Limón\n\nNo. 10727\n\nTHE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA DECREES.\n\nDECLARATION OF PUBLIC INTEREST OF THE TOURIST,\n\nECOLOGICAL AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE CANTONS\n\nOF POCOCÍ, SIQUIRRES, MATINA, TALAMANCA\n\nAND CENTRAL DE LIMÓN\n\nARTICLE 1- Declaration of public interest\n\nThe tourist, ecological and cultural development of the cantons of Pococí, Siquirres, Matina, Talamanca and Central de Limón is declared to be of public interest; for which, the State, through its public institutions, shall promote the development of infrastructure and investments in tourism in the canton, under a scheme of sustainable development, inclusive tourism and proper management of the environment, that strengthen the social and economic condition of the canton; this by means of its public entities, both centralized and decentralized, including public enterprises, with the exception of those that operate under a competition regime, which are hereby empowered by this law to contribute to the fulfillment of their objectives.\n\nInstitutions with constitutional autonomy status may integrate within the framework of their constitutional autonomy; likewise, the municipalities of the aforementioned cantons are hereby empowered to lead the inter-institutional coordination process that allows for the implementation of the law and to achieve the tourist development of their respective canton.\n\nARTICLE 2- Participation of the State\n\nThe State may support all initiatives that promote local development and the activities of the small and medium-sized enterprises of the inhabitants of said cantons, which are linked to the development of tourism, seeking to maintain, protect and enhance the heritage and cultural assets.\n\nTakes effect upon its publication\n\nGiven at the Presidency of the Republic, San José, on the thirteenth day of the month of May of the year two thousand twenty-five."
