  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Norm 45179\n\n                        Accession of the Republic of Costa Rica to the International Convention for\nthe Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, Protocols I and II, as Modified by the Protocols of\n1978 and 1997, its Annexes and Amendments\n\nNo. 45179\n\nTHE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC\n\nAND THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND WORSHIP\n\nConsidering:\n\nI.—That the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Costa Rica,\nthrough Law No. 10738 of July 4, two thousand twenty-five, published in\nSupplement number ninety-two of the Official Gazette La Gaceta number one\nhundred thirty-six of July twenty-three, two thousand twenty-five, approved the\nAccession of the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica to the International Convention\nfor the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973; Protocols I and II,\nas Modified by the Protocols of 1978 and 1997, its Annexes and Amendments.\n\nII.—That, pursuant to the provisions of the Convention itself, when\na State deposits an instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval, or\naccession after the date of entry into force of the Convention or of an\noptional annex, these shall enter into force for that State three months after\nthe deposit of the respective instrument. Therefore,\n\nIn exercise of the powers conferred by subsections 10 and 12 of\nArticle 140 and Article 146 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of\nCosta Rica.\n\nThey Decree:\n\nArticle 1.—The accession of the Republic of Costa Rica to the International Convention\nfor the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, Protocols I\nand II, as Modified by the Protocols of 1978 and 1997, its Annexes and Amendments.\n\nArticle 2.—It shall enter into force as of this date.\n\nDone at the\nPresidency of the Republic, on the twentieth day of the month of August of two thousand\ntwenty-five."
