  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Law 10784\n\n                        Declaration of Public Interest for the Touristic, Ecological, Natural,\nSports, and Cultural Development of the Canton of Sarapiquí\n\nNo. 10784\n\nTHE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF\nTHE REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA\n\nDECREES:\n\nDECLARATION OF PUBLIC\nINTEREST FOR THE TOURISTIC,\n\nECOLOGICAL, NATURAL,\nSPORTS, AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE\n\nCANTON OF SARAPIQUÍ\n\nARTICLE 1- Declaration of\npublic interest. The touristic, ecological, natural, sports, and cultural development of the canton of Sarapiquí is declared to be of public interest, for which purpose\nthe State, through its public institutions, may promote the\ndevelopment of infrastructure and investments in tourism in the canton, under a\nframework of sustainable development, inclusive tourism, community-based social tourism,\nand the proper management of the environment, which strengthens the social and\neconomic condition of the inhabitants of the canton, this through its public entities, both centralized and decentralized, including public enterprises with the exception of those that operate under a competition regime, which\nthis law empowers to contribute to the fulfillment of their\nobjectives.\n\nARTICLE 2- Institutional\nsupport. The State may support local development initiatives and the\nactivities of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises linked to touristic\ndevelopment, seeking to maintain, protect, and enhance the heritage and cultural assets in the area.\n\nIt shall take effect upon its publication.\n\nDone at the Presidency of\nthe Republic, San José, on the eighteenth day of the month of November of the year two thousand\ntwenty-five.\n\nLET IT BE EXECUTED AND PUBLISHED."
