Que mediante el Decreto\nEjecutivo 43166- MOPT-MINAE-S denominado Reforma Reglamento para el control de\nlas emisiones contaminantes producidas por los vehículos automotores con motor\nde combustión interna, publicado el Alcance 213 de la Gaceta número 202 del día\nveinte de octubre del dos mil veintiuno se posterga la entrada en vigencia de\nlos estándares de emisiones Euro VI y Tier III.\n\n III. Que mediante Decreto Ejecutivo N° 43646\ndel 13 de julio del 2022, denominado Reforma Reglamento para el control de las\nemisiones contaminantes producidas por los vehículos automotores con motor de\ncombustión interna, publicado el Alcance 174 de la Gaceta número 154 del día\ndieciséis de agosto del dos mil veintidós se reforma el artículo 7 del Decreto\nEjecutivo N° 39.724 denominado Reglamento para el Control de las Emisiones Contaminantes\nProducidas por los Vehículos con Motor de Combustión Interna, se posterga la\nentrada en vigencia de los estándares de emisiones emitidos por la Unión Europea\n(Euro VI) y las especificaciones Federales de los Estados Unidos (TIER III) a partir\ndel primero de enero del año dos mil veintisiete.\n\nIV.\nActualmente el país no cuenta con las condiciones habilitantes para la\nimplementación delos estándares de emisiones emitidos por la Unión Europea\n(Euro VI) y las especificaciones Federales de los Estados Unidos (TIER III)\npara los vehículos nuevos o usados que ingresarán al territorio nacional a\npartir del primero de enero del año dos mil veintisiete. El Estado\ncostarricense carece de equipos y de la infraestructura adecuada para lograr\ncontrolar y verificar el cumplimiento de los estándares indicados.\n\nV. That through Decreto\nEjecutivo 43166- MOPT-MINAE-S called Reform of the Regulation for the control of\npollutant emissions produced by automotive vehicles with an\ninternal combustion engine, published in Alcance 213 of La Gaceta number 202 on\nOctober twentieth, two thousand twenty-one, the entry into force of\nthe Euro VI and Tier III emission standards is postponed.\n\nIII. That through Decreto Ejecutivo No. 43646\nof July 13, 2022, called Reform of the Regulation for the control of\npollutant emissions produced by automotive vehicles with an\ninternal combustion engine, published in Alcance 174 of La Gaceta number 154 on\nAugust sixteenth, two thousand twenty-two, Article 7 of Decreto\nEjecutivo No. 39.724 called Regulation for the Control of Pollutant Emissions\nProduced by Vehicles with an Internal Combustion Engine is reformed, postponing the\nentry into force of the emission standards issued by the European Union\n(Euro VI) and the Federal specifications of the United States (TIER III) as of\nJanuary first, year two thousand twenty-seven.\n\nIV.\nCurrently, the country does not have the enabling conditions for the\nimplementation of the emission standards issued by the European Union\n(Euro VI) and the Federal specifications of the United States (TIER III)\nfor new or used vehicles that will enter the national territory as of\nJanuary first, year two thousand twenty-seven. The Costa Rican\nState lacks the equipment and adequate infrastructure to achieve\ncontrol and verification of compliance with the indicated standards.\n\nV.
