However, when alternate council members do not substitute for the\n\n\n\n\n\nproprietary members in a compensable session, but are present throughout the entire\n\n\n\n\n\nsession, they shall earn fifty percent (50%) of the per diem payment\n\n\n\n\n\ncorresponding to the proprietary council member, in accordance with this article.\n\n\n\n\n\nProprietary district representatives shall earn, for each compensable session they\n\n\n\n\n\nattend, fifty percent (50%) of the per diem payment earned by the\n\n\n\n\n\nproprietary council members. Alternate district representatives shall earn the same per diem payment\n\n\n\n\n\nwhen they substitute for a proprietary district representative, based on the preceding\n\n\n\n\n\narticle.
