El el reverso tendrán estampadas dos ramas de café\n\nentrelazadas; en le centro de éstas, el valor de la moneda expresado en\n\nnúmeros; en la parte superior la leyenda América Central, y en la parte\n\ninferior las iniciales B. N. C.   "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\nFull Text of Regulation 148\n\n                        Authorizes the Issuance of a Provisional Twenty-Five Cent Coin\n\nFull Text record: 30839\n\n1\n\n     Article 1.- The Issuing Department of the National Bank of Costa Rica is authorized to mint, issue, and circulate fractional coinage with a face value of twenty-five cents, of the type, shape, weight, and dimensions set forth in the following article.\n\n     Article 2.- The coin authorized by this decree shall be made of copper alloyed with zinc and tin; with a weight of three grams and four hundred ten milligrams; a diameter of twenty-three millimeters; and a thickness of one millimeter.\n\n     The tolerance, more or less, in the weight of the coin shall be sixteen grams per thousand coins.\n\n     The coins shall bear engraved on the obverse the national coat of arms, with the legend Republic of Costa Rica and the year of minting. On the reverse, they shall have stamped two intertwined coffee branches; in the center of these, the value of the coin expressed in numbers; in the upper part, the legend Central America; and in the lower part, the initials B. N. C. R., of the National Bank of Costa Rica; the first two on the left side, and the others on the right side of each coin.\n\n     Article 3.- The coin created by this law shall be put into circulation by the Issuing Department of the National Bank of Costa Rica through resolutions of its Board of Directors and following the same procedures stipulated in its regulations for the legalization of notes of the Bank itself.\n\n     Article 4.- The coin to which this decree refers shall have a provisional character, may be withdrawn from circulation when the Bank deems it opportune, and shall have legal tender power among private parties up to the sum of one hundred colones, but the State and its dependencies shall accept it without any limitation of amount.\n\n     Article 5.- This decree takes effect from the day of its publication."
