  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Norm 29493\n\n                        To Convene the Police Force Reserve of the Ministry of Public\nSecurity so that it may be trained in matters of environmental legislation and education\n\nFull Text of Record: 3DBAA\nEXECUTIVE BRANCH\n\nEXECUTIVE BRANCH\n\n \n\nDECREES\n\n \n\nNo. 29493-SP\n\n \n\nTHE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC\n\nAND THE MINISTER OF GOVERNANCE AND POLICE,\n\nAND PUBLIC SECURITY\n\n \n\nBased on subsections 3) and 18) of Article 140 of the Political Constitution, Articles 33,\n34, 35 and 36 of the General Police Law, and Article 43 of Executive Decree No. 23881-SP.\n\nConsidering:\n\n1º-That the Police Forces Reserve is established in Chapter III of the General\nPolice Law No. 7410.\n\n2º-That it is the obligation of the state to train the members of the police forces, in\norder to best ensure the validity and maintenance of public order.\n\n3º-That the heads of the Ministries of Environment and Energy and Public Security signed\na memorandum of understanding, in which the Ministry of Environment and Energy, through the Civil\nSociety Office, undertakes to design and establish an environmental program aimed at training\nmembers of the Police Forces Reserve in this matter, so that they may assist in the\nsurveillance of natural resources and report anything that contravenes current environmental\nlegislation.\n\n4º-That natural resources are fundamental for life in society, and therefore the protection of the\nenvironment is indispensable, for which it is convenient to assign duly trained members of the Public\nForce Reserve in this field so that they may assist in the surveillance for the\nconservation of nature within the legal powers conferred upon them.\n\nThey Decree:\n\n \n\n1º-To convene the Police Force Reserve of the Ministry of Public Security so that it may be\ntrained in matters of environmental legislation and education for the protection and surveillance of\nnatural resources, by the Ministry of Environment and Energy.\n\n2º-It shall take effect from its publication."
