optar por tierra de\nvocación agrícola y dejar en conservación ese sector, que es de vocación\nforestal.\n\n2º-Que la comunidad indígena Guaymí de\nla Reserva Indígena\nGuaymí de Osa, ha solicitado a\nla Comisión Nacional de Asuntos Indígenas (CONAI)\nlos estudios respectivos a la modificación de límites de esta reserva.\n\n3º-Que la delimitación establecida por el artículo 2º del Decreto Ejecutivo\nNº 22202-G, publicado en La\n Gaceta Nº 108 del 7 de junio de 1993, requiere una definición\nde límites más acorde a la realidad que vive la población indígena Guaymí de\nla Reserva de Osa.\n\n4º-Que es recomendable definir una zona de amortiguamiento de mayor soporte\npara la Reserva\n Indígena Guaymí de Osa y el Parque Nacional Corcovado, con el\nobjetivo de preservar los recursos naturales de estas unidades administrativas\ny de la Península\nde Osa en general.\n\n5º-Que en consulta a la comunidad indígena, tal y como lo establece el\nConvenio 169 de la OIT,\nen su artículo 6º inciso a), la\n CONAI realizó los estudios correspondientes y los presentó a\nla comunidad indígena, la que bajo consenso avaló el proyecto.\n\n6º-Que es fundamental corregir la numeración de los Por tanto,\n\nDECRETAN:\n\nArtículo 1º-Modifíquese el artículo 2º del Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 22202-G de fecha 14 de\nabril de 1993, publicado en La\n Gaceta Nº 108 del 7 de julio de 1993, que se refiere a la\ndelimitación de la\n Reserva Indígena Guaymí de Osa, para que en adelante se lea\nasí:\n\nArtículo\n2° La Reserva\n Indígena Guaymí de Osa, se localiza en las hojas topográficas\ndel Instituto Geográfico Nacional, escala 1:50.000, Llorona 3441 I Y Golfo\nDulce 3541 IV. La\n Reserva Indígena Guaymí de Osa está delimitada por los puntos\nde las coordenadas siguientes:\n\n \n\nParte del\npunto de coordenadas N 285 975 E 519 640, punto de intersección en el mapa, de\nla quebrada, dando con el río Rincón. Continúa el límite de la reserva aguas\narriba por el río Rincón, hasta su confluencia con el río Pavón en coordenadas\nN 284 380 E 518 440. De este punto se sigue aguas arriba por el río Pavón,\nhasta su naciente en el mapa en coordenadas N 284 600 E 510 500. Continúa el\nlindero por una naciente del río Pavón, dibujada por curvas de nivel en el\nmapa, que toma rumbo suroeste, hasta el punto de coordenadas N 284 050 E 509\n825. The\n Guaymí de Osa Indigenous Reserve is bounded by the following coordinate points:\n\n \n\nIt starts from the coordinate point N 285 975 E 519 640, point of intersection on the map, of\nthe stream (quebrada), meeting the Rincón River. The boundary of the reserve continues upstream\nalong the Rincón River, until its confluence with the Pavón River at coordinates\nN 284 380 E 518 440.
