Para ello se\nconforma una alianza entre sectores gubernamentales, no gubernamentales y de la sociedad civil.\n\n3°-Que como estímulo al trabajo realizado por las municipalidades que desarrollan proyectos\nrelacionados con la salud y el ambiente humano, para cada año la Organización Panamericana de la\nSalud/Organización Mundial de la Salud (OPS/OMS) financia el Premio OPS/OMS Cantones Saludables, hoy\nllamado Premio Nacional de Cantones Ecológicos y Saludables.\n\n4°-Que la Comisión Interinstitucional Técnica Asesora de Cantones Ecológicos y Saludables ha\nsolicitado al Ministerio de Salud la declaratoria de interés público y nacional de las actividades\norganizadas cada año en torno al Premio Nacional de Cantones Ecológicos y Saludables.
