  "body_en_text": "throughout the entire text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Complete Text of Norm 30231\n\n                        Amendment to the executive decree creating the Advisory Commission on Land\nDegradation (CEDETI)\n\nComplete Text of record: C692F\nNo. 30231-MINAE-MAG\n\n(This decree was repealed by article 19 of executive decree No.\n35216 of March 11, 2009).\n\nNo.\n30231-MINAE-MAG\n\nTHE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC\n\nAND THE MINISTERS OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY,\n\nAND AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK\n\nIn the exercise of the\npowers conferred upon them by article 140, subsection 3) of the Political\nConstitution.\n\nConsidering\n\n1º-That in La Gaceta No. 30\nof Monday, February 12, 2001, Executive Decree No.\n29279-MINAE-MAG was published, by means of which the Advisory Commission on Land\nDegradation (CADETI), attached to the Ministry of Environment and Energy, was created.\n\n2º-That in order to\ndevelop the entrusted activities, an adaptation to its regulatory\nframework established in the aforementioned decree is required, in order to adjust it to its\nfunctions.\n\nTHEY DECREE:\n\nArticle 1º-To add to\narticle 2 a new subsection g), which shall read: g-To promote and facilitate\nscientific research in the country on this subject matter.\n\nArticle 2º-Amend subsection d), of article 3, so that it reads as follows: d- A representative of the\nOffice of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.\n\nArticle 3º-To amend article 9 which shall read: The focal point of the Commission shall be the one designated by the\nHead of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, who must be chosen from the members\nindicated in subsections c, d, e, and f, of article 3.\n\nArticle 5º-It shall be effective as of its publication."
