Para el cumplimiento de esta labor se otorgó a esta Comisión un\nplazo de 6 meses, prorrogables bajo justificación, para la emisión de un Informe al Jerarca\nMinisterial, plazo que vence el 28 de febrero del 2003.\n\n2º-Que el día 11 de febrero la Coordinadora de esta Comisión solicita formalmente una prórroga para\nla emisión del informe final, con fundamento en lo siguiente: a) Se ha concluido la primer etapa del\nproceso de análisis a nivel interno y con sectores sociales relacionados. b) La Comisión se está\navocando a la revisión del primer borrador de \"Diagnóstico Organizacional de la situación de la\nDirección de Geología y Minas\". c) Se debe realizar el proceso de diseño lógico y físico del sistema\nde información, el rediseño de procesos organizacionales, normalización de procedimientos e\ninstructivos y el análisis de la demanda y capacidad de oferta de los servicios de la Dirección de\nGeología y Minas. d) Se debe concluir el proceso de análisis técnico-legal sobre competencias y\ndemandas con relación a la estructura existente y el perfil de los funcionarios, el cual derivará en\nuna recomendación sobre la estructura organizacional, reglamentaria y procedimental a seguir.\n\n3º-Que los razonamientos anteriores, son indicadores claros de la necesidad institucional de\ncontinuar con el proceso iniciado, por existir insumos pendientes de elaboración y análisis que\nnecesariamente deben reflejarse en el informe final, lo cual es una prioridad institucional. To fulfill this task, this Commission was granted a\nperiod of 6 months, extendable under justification, for the issuance of a Report to the Ministerial\nHierarch, a period that expires on February 28, 2003.\n\n2nd-That on February 11, the Coordinator of this Commission formally requests an extension for\nthe issuance of the final report, based on the following: a) The first stage of the\nanalysis process has been concluded at the internal level and with related social sectors. b) The Commission is\nproceeding with the review of the first draft of \"Organizational Diagnosis of the situation of the\nDirectorate of Geology and Mines\". c) The process of logical and physical design of the information\nsystem, the redesign of organizational processes, standardization of procedures and\ninstructions, and the analysis of the demand and supply capacity of the services of the Directorate of\nGeology and Mines must be carried out. d) The technical-legal analysis process on competencies and\ndemands in relation to the existing structure and the profile of the officials must be concluded, which will result in\na recommendation on the organizational, regulatory, and procedural structure to follow.\n\n3rd-That the preceding reasonings are clear indicators of the institutional need to\ncontinue with the initiated process, given that there are pending inputs for elaboration and analysis that\nmust necessarily be reflected in the final report, which is an institutional priority.
