  "body_en_text": "throughout the entire text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Complete Text of Norm 496\n\n                        Reform of Resolution on the Conservation of Tuna in the Pacific Ocean\n\nFull Text of record: 6FB57\nAJDIP/496\n\nAJDIP/496.-Puntarenas,\non the twenty-first day of November of the year two thousand three.\n\n \n\nConsidering\n\n1º-That in\nresponse to resolution C-03-03 of the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission,\nthe Board of Directors adopted agreement AJDIP/365-2003, regarding the\nestablishment of closed areas for the capture and extraction of the tuna resource.\n\n \n\n2º-That during the\n71st meeting of the IATTC, held in La Jolla, California, USA, held\nduring the 6th-7th of October of this year, resolution C-03-12 was agreed upon,\non Conservation of tuna in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, an aspect that motivates\nthis board to modify and adjust the aforementioned agreement, to the scope and\nterms of this new resolution.\n\n \n\nTherefore:\n\nArticle\n1º-Amend article 2 of agreement AJDIP/365-2003, so that it henceforth\nreads as follows:\n\n\"Article\n2º-Fishing is authorized in the patrimonial sea of Costa Rica, except within the\nterritorial sea and in that area included in the closed zone in IATTC\nresolution C-03-12, established and defined as follows: \"From the\nintersection of the 95° W Meridian with the western coast of the American\ncontinent southward to the 10° N parallel, then westward to the\n120° W meridian, then southward to the 5° S parallel, then\neastward to the 100° W meridian, then northward to the 5° N parallel,\nthen eastward to the 85° W meridian and finally northward to its intersection\nwith the western American coast.\"\n\nArticle 2º-Instructions\nare issued to the Protection and Registration Department to the effect that it\nrectify and notify the modification made in accordance with the present\nagreement, which includes the licenses issued during the months of October and November.\n\n    Article 3º-Agreement\nAJDIP/459-2003 is rendered without effect.\n\nArticle\n4º-Publish.
