Por tanto,\n\n \n\nDecretan:\n\n \n\nREFORMA AL DECRETO EJECUTIVO N°\n29144-MSP:\n\nREGLAMENTO A\nLA\n LEY DEL SERVICIO\n\nNACIONAL DE GUARDACOSTAS\n\nArtículo 1º-Modifíquese el artículo\n8 inciso a) del Decreto Ejecutivo N° 29144-MSP: \"Reglamento a\nla Ley del Servicio Nacional de\nGuardacostas\", para que se lea de la siguiente manera:\n\n\"Artículo 8.-El Departamento\nAdministrativo, estará coordinado por jefe administrativo y conformado por las\nsiguientes secciones:\n\na)  Financiero/contable.\nSección encargada de los procesos de planificación, administración y custodia\ndel fondo especial del servicio nacional de guardacostas, así como el\nmantenimiento del catálogo de cuentas, control presupuestal, contabilidad,\npreparación de informes de control internos y externos de los estados\nfinancieros. Además velará por los recursos y activos que\nla\n Ley Nº 8000, faculta al servicio para recibir, de modo que los mismos\nsean captados con prontitud.\n\nb)  Personal. Sección\nencargada de realizar todos los procesos administrativos ante la instancias\ncorrespondientes, referente a la selección, nombramiento, traslados, permutas,\nincapacidades, vacaciones, ascensos, permisos u otros movimientos de personal,\nde los funcionarios del Servicio Nacional de Guardacostas, así como coordinar\nentre la Dirección del Servicio, Ministerio de\nSeguridad Pública, Academia del Servicio y cualquier otra institución, los\ntrámites administrativos en la programación de cursos, selección de candidatos\npara cursos y becas entre otros.\n\nc)  Proveeduría. Sección\nencargada de recibir los pedidos de material, equipo, suministro de las\nEstaciones de Guardacostas, así como coordinar con\nla Proveeduría del Ministerio, las\nsolicitudes de las cotizaciones, además de gestionar los trámites previos, y\ndar el seguimiento a las compras, para así distribuirlas en las Estaciones del\nServicio. Therefore,\n\n \n\nThey Decree:\n\n \n\nAMENDMENT TO EXECUTIVE DECREE NO.\n29144-MSP:\n\nREGULATION TO\nTHE\n LAW OF THE NATIONAL\n\nCOAST GUARD SERVICE\n\nArticle 1º-Amend article\n8, subsection a) of Executive Decree No. 29144-MSP: \"Regulation to\nthe Law of the National Coast Guard\nService\", so that it reads as follows:\n\n\"Article 8.-The Administrative\nDepartment shall be coordinated by an administrative chief and composed of the\nfollowing sections:\n\na)  Financial/Accounting.\nSection responsible for the processes of planning, administration, and custody\nof the special fund of the national coast guard service, as well as the\nmaintenance of the chart of accounts, budget control, accounting,\npreparation of internal and external control reports on the financial\nstatements. It shall also oversee the resources and assets that\nLaw No. 8000, empowers the service to receive, so that they\nare collected promptly.\n\nb)  Personnel. Section\nresponsible for carrying out all administrative processes before the corresponding\nbodies, regarding the selection, appointment, transfers, swaps,\nsick leaves, vacations, promotions, leaves of absence, or other personnel movements,\nof the officials of the National Coast Guard Service, as well as coordinating\nbetween the Directorate of the Service, Ministry of\nPublic Security, Service Academy, and any other institution, the\nadministrative procedures in the scheduling of courses, selection of candidates\nfor courses and scholarships, among others.\n\nc)  Procurement. Section\nresponsible for receiving the orders for material, equipment, supplies from the\nCoast Guard Stations, as well as coordinating with\nthe Procurement Office of the Ministry, the\nrequests for quotations, in addition to managing the prior procedures, and\nfollowing up on purchases, in order to distribute them to the Service Stations.\nThe Procurement Office of the Ministry of Public\nSecurity shall, where possible, assign two persons to handle the\nprocedures of the National Coast Guard Service.\"\n\nArticle 2º-It shall take effect upon its\npublication.\n\n \n\nGiven at\nthe\n Presidency of the Republic, San José, at seven hours\nthirty minutes on the seventh of May, two thousand eight."
