Artículo cuarto: Los\nfines de la Asociación\nson los siguientes: A) Construir un acueducto en la localidad de Jabillos; B)\nAdministrar, operar y conservar en buenas condiciones el acueducto, de acuerdo\ncon las disposiciones y reglamentos que al respecto emita el Instituto\nCostarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados; C) Obtener la participación\nefectiva de la comunidad en la construcción y mantenimiento del acueducto; D)\nColaborar en los programas y campañas de índole educativo que se emprendan; E)\nAyudar a explicar y divulgar en la comunidad las disposiciones del Instituto\nNacional mencionado; F) Cooperar con los planes, proyectos y obras que emprenda\nel Instituto en la comunidad; G) Participar en la vigilancia y protección de\nlas fuentes de abastecimiento del acueducto, evitar las contaminaciones de las\nmismas y ayudar a la protección de las cuencas hidrográficas de la región .\".\n(Visible a folio 24).\n\nIV.-Que tales fines\nsolventan una necesidad social de primer orden, por lo cual merecen el apoyo\ndel Estado Costarricense.
