Que el artículo 32 de la\n Ley de Asociaciones número 218 de ocho de agosto de mil\nnovecientos treinta y nueve y sus reformas, confiere al Poder Ejecutivo la\npotestad de declarar de Utilidad Pública a las Asociaciones simples, federadas\no confederadas, cuyo desarrollo y actividades sean particularmente útiles para\nlos intereses del Estado, y que por ello contribuyan a solventar una necesidad\nsocial.\n\n            II. Que\nla ASOCIACIÓN LA\nGALLEGA Y ESTERO AZUL SIERPE DE OSA, cédula de Persona Jurídica número:\n3-002-542576, se inscribió en el Registro de Asociaciones del Registro Público\ndesde el día veintitrés de julio de dos mil ocho, bajo el tomo número 576,\nasiento 16522.\n\nIII. Que los fines que persigue\nla Asociación, según su acta constitutiva y de\nacuerdo a lo establecido en el artículo tercero de sus Estatutos son los\nsiguientes:\n\na) Administrar, operar, dar mantenimiento, desarrollo y conservar en buenas\ncondiciones el acueducto, de conformidad con las disposiciones y reglamentos\nque al respecto emite el Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados\nque serán de acatamiento obligatorio.\n\nb) Obtener la participación efectiva de la comunidad, en la construcción,\noperación, mantenimiento y desarrollo del acueducto.\n\nc) Colaboración en los programas y campañas de índole educativo que se\nemprendan.\n\nd) Ayudar a explicar y divulgar las disposiciones y reglamentos del\nInstituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados en la comunidad.\n\ne) Cooperar con los planes, proyectos y obras que emprenda el Instituto\nCostarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados en la comunidad.\n\nf) Participar en asuntos relativos a la administración, conservación y\nexplotación racional de las aguas; control de su contaminación o alteración,\ndefinición de medidas y acciones necesarias para la protección de las cuencas\nhidrográficas y estabilidad ecológica.\n\ng) Velar porque todos los sistemas, sus instalaciones acueductos o\nalcantarillados sanitario, cumplan los principios básicos del servicio público,\ntanto en calidad, cantidad, cobertura, eficiencia, racionalización de gastos,\netc.\n\nh) Otorgar los servicios públicos, en forma eficiente, igualitaria y\noportuna a todos sus usuarios, sin distinciones de ninguna naturaleza.\n\nIV. Que tales fines solventan una necesidad social de primer orden, por lo\ncual merecen el apoyo del Estado Costarricense. Therefore,\n\nDECREES\n\nArticle 1.- The ASOCIACIÓN LA GALLEGA Y ESTERO AZUL SIERPE DE OSA is hereby declared of Public Utility for the interests of the State, legal entity identification\nnumber: 3-002-542576.\n\nArticle 2.- It is the duty of\nthe Association to submit an annual report to the\nMinistry of Justice and Peace, in accordance with the provisions of article 32\nof the Regulation to the Law\nof Associations.\n\nArticle 3.- Once this Decree is published, the interested parties must\nformalize and present the respective certified copy before the Registry of\nAssociations of the National Registry, for its respective registration.\n\nArticle 4.- It becomes effective upon its publication.\n\nDone at\nthe Presidency of\nthe Republic.
