N° 6227, del 2 de mayo de 1978,\nartículo 40 de la Ley\nde Protección Fitosanitaria N° 7664, del 8 de abril de 1997, artículos 111, 112\ny 114 del Reglamento a la Ley\nde Protección Fitosanitaria, Decreto Ejecutivo N° 26921, del 20 de marzo de\n1998. \n\n Considerando: \n\n1º-Que el artículo 40 de\nla Ley de Protección\nFitosanitaria, Ley N° 7664, regula la creación de la Comisión Técnica\nNacional de Bioseguridad como órgano asesor del Servicio Fitosanitario del\nEstado, en Biotecnología, indicando que su integración, atribuciones y funciones\nserán establecidas en el reglamento respectivo. \n\n2º-Que el artículo 111 del\nReglamento a la Ley\nde Protección Fitosanitaria, Decreto Ejecutivo N° 26921-MAG, establece como\nfunción de la\n Comisión Técnica Nacional de Bioseguridad asesorar a las\ninstituciones públicas, al Servicio Fitosanitario del Estado y a las oficinas\nencargadas de emitir las autorizaciones para los diferentes procesos con\norganismos modificados genéticamente. \n\n3º-Que el artículo 112 del\nReglamento a la Ley\nde Protección Fitosanitaria, Decreto Ejecutivo N° 26921-MAG, el cual fue\nmodificado mediante el Decreto Ejecutivo N° 37588-MAG-MS-MICIT-MINAET, del 14\nde noviembre del 2012, establece la nueva estructura de integración de la Comisión Técnica\nNacional de Bioseguridad, la cual entrará a regir a partir del 25 de junio del\n2013, realizando la inclusión de dos representantes del Ministerio de Salud,\nestableciendo que los representantes del Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería,\nson: un representante del modified organisms. \n\n3º-That article 112 of the\nRegulation to the Phytosanitary Protection Law, Executive Decree N° 26921-MAG, which was\namended by Executive Decree N° 37588-MAG-MS-MICIT-MINAET, of November 14,\n2012, establishes the new composition structure of the National Technical Commission on Biosafety, which will come into effect as of June 25,\n2013, including two representatives from
