  "body_en_text": "PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC\n\nAND THE MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY\n\nIn exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Articles 140, subsections 3) and 18), and 146 of the Political Constitution, and Biodiversity Law No. 7788 of April 30, 1998.\n\nConsidering:\n\nI.—That Biodiversity Law No. 7788 of April 30, 1998, created the National Commission for Biodiversity Management (Comisión Nacional para la Gestión de la Biodiversidad) as a deconcentrated body of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, with instrumental legal personality.\n\nII.—That the aforementioned Law assigns to this Commission functions relating to the conservation, ecologically sustainable use, and restoration of biodiversity, which are of vital importance for the sustainable development of the country.\n\nIII.—That Article 15 of the Biodiversity Law establishes the manner in which the Commission shall be composed, in accordance with the appointments made by the entities and organizations indicated by law.\n\nIV.—That Executive Decree No. 29680-MINAE of July 23, 2001, published in La Gaceta No. 150 of August 7, 2001, regulates the functioning of this Commission.\n\nV.—That by means of Executive Decree No. 37107-MINAET of March 19, 2012, published in Alcance Digital No. 67 of La Gaceta No. 99 of May 23, 2012, Ms. Fiorella Donato Calderón was appointed as the permanent representative of the National Council of Rectors (Consejo Nacional de Rectores) for a term of 3 years, which ended on May 23, 2015. Therefore,\n\nThey Decree:\n\nArticle 1º—To appoint as part of the members comprising the National Commission for Biodiversity Management the following representative of the National Council of Rectors:\n\n1. Permanent Member:\n\na. Fiorella Donato Calderón, identity card number: one-four hundred eighty-four-seven hundred sixty-nine.\n\nArticle 2º—For the purposes of the term provided for in Article 15 of the Biodiversity Law, the appointment is made for a full period of three years.\n\nArticle 3º—The following is repealed:\n\n1.
