En aguas continentales la\nprotección de los recursos acuáticos le corresponderá al MINAE. \n\n2º-Que en el artículo\n38 de la citada Ley, se establece que el INCOPESCA determinará los métodos, las\ntécnicas, los equipos y las artes de pesca prohibidas. \n\n3º-Que el artículo 72\nde la Ley 7384 establece que el INCOPESCA impulsará la conservación de especies\nde interés deportivo, realizando estudios técnicos y científicos y promoviendo\npolíticas de manejo sostenibles y en artículo 73 se indica que el INCOPESCA\nestablecerá los cánones, las épocas, las zonas y las tallas mínimas, así como\nel número máximo de ejemplares que pueda capturar un pescador deportivo, de\nacuerdo con las condiciones del recurso de que se trate y las características\nparticulares del lugar en donde se desarrolle la actividad.\n\n4º-Que el pez Bobo (Joturus pichardi, Poey 1860) se distribuye geográficamente en la Vertiente\ndel Caribe desde México hasta Panamá. \n\n5º-Que en Costa Rica se tiene documentada su existencia en los ríos del Atlántico y Zona Norte\n(Bussing 2002), habitando los sectores rápidos y torrentosos de los ríos \n\n6º-Que en el río\nSarapiquí, de Costa Rica, se ha reportado abundancia de individuos maduros\nsexualmente para el mes de octubre y una disminución de la misma en el mes de\nsetiembre, (Villalobos y Molina 2005). \n\n7º-Que con base a las\nconsideraciones anteriormente enumeradas, la Junta Directiva, Por tanto, \n\nACUERDA: \n\n1º-Se establece veda\npara la pesca deportiva y turística del pez bobo Joturus\npichardi, Poey 1860, en la\ncuenca del rio Pacuare, durante el mes de octubre de todos los años.\n\n2º-En periodos fuera de veda establecida en el artículo anterior, sólo\nse permite como artes de pesca para el pez bobo, Joturus\nPichardi, Poey 1860, la\npesca con cañas y carretes y cuerda de mano.\n\n3º-Acuerdo Firme", "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n -\n\n Complete Text of Norma 237\n\n Establishes a closed season for sport and tourism fishing of the Bobo fish\nJoturus Picharde Poey 1860 in the Pacuare River Basin during the month of October of every year\n\nComplete Text of acta: 106115\n\nCOSTA RICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES\n\nAND AQUACULTURE\n\nAJDIP/237-2015.-Puntarenas,\non the twelfth day of the month of June two thousand fifteen. \n\nConsidering: \n\n1º-That Law No.\n8436, Fisheries and Aquaculture Law, of April 25, 2005 establishes in Article\n13 that INCOPESCA shall exercise control over fishing and aquaculture activities\ncarried out in marine and inland waters and shall provide technical assistance to\naquaculture activities in continental and marine waters.
