Directivos,\nlas propuestas de Acuerdos sobre: 1) El Marcaje de equipos de pesca de las\nembarcaciones comerciales de Mediana Escala y Avanzada, 2) El Libro de registro\nde operaciones de pesca para ser utilizado en embarcaciones de pesca comercial\nde Mediana Escala y pesca comercial Avanzada, durante las faenas de pesca, y 3)\nLos Formularios Registro de Lances y Trasbordos por viaje de pesca; mismas que\nbuscan atender las medidas de control y ordenamiento fijadas en el artículo 11\ndel Decreto Ejecutivo N°. 38681-MAG-MINAE, Ordenamiento para el Aprovechamiento\nde Atún y Especies Afines en la Zona Económica Exclusiva del Océano Pacífico\nCostarricense, los cuales surgieron de los compromisos adquiridos de previo por\nel sector palangrero en razón del establecimiento e implementación de ésta\nnormativa de ordenamiento.\n\n2º-Que a efecto de su aprobación, éstas propuestas fueron puestas al\nconocimiento de los Sres. Directivos, según se dispuso en el Acuerdo\nAJDIP/093-2016.\n\n3º-Que\ncon fundamento en las consideraciones anteriormente citadas, consideran los\nSres. Directivos la procedencia de atender favorablemente la aprobación de\néstos instrumentos operativos, razón por la cual, la Junta Directiva, Por\ntanto;\n\nACUERDA:\n\n1º-Acoger y aprobar\nlas propuestas de 1) El Marcaje de equipos de pesca de las embarcaciones\ncomerciales de Mediana Escala y Avanzada, 2) El Libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca para ser utilizado en embarcaciones de pesca comercial de Mediana\nEscala y pesca comercial Avanzada, durante las faenas de pesca, y 3) Los\nFormularios Registro de Lances y Trasbordos por viaje de pesca, presentadas por\nel Sr. Antonio Porras Porras, Director General Técnico, al tenor de lo\nestablecido fijadas en el artículo 11 del Decreto Ejecutivo N° 38681-MAG-MINAE,\nOrdenamiento para el Aprovechamiento de Atún y Especies Afines en la Zona\nEconómica Exclusiva del Océano Pacífico Costarricense; mismas que se realiza en\nlos siguientes términos y condiciones:\n\nI- Marcaje de\nequipos de pesca de las embarcaciones comerciales de Mediana Escala y Avanzada.\n\n. Que de conformidad\ncon lo dispuesto en las Leyes Nº 7384 del 16 de marzo de 1994, Ley de Creación\ndel Instituto Costarricense de Pesca y Acuicultura y Nº 8436 del 01 de marzo\ndel 2005, Ley de Pesca y Acuicultura, corresponde al Incopesca dictar las\nmedidas que normen y regulen el aprovechamiento de los recursos\nhidrobiológicos, de conformidad con la disponibilidad y conservación de los\nrecursos pesqueros, pero en relación directa con las necesidades de desarrollo\ny sostenibilidad del sector pesquero costarricense, fundamentado en estudios\ncientíficos, técnicos, económicos o sociales.\n\n. Que habiéndose\ncoordinado con el sector pesquero palangrero, involucrados directos en el uso\ndel arte de pesca del palangre y teniendo presente la forma de operar y de\narmarse estos artes de pesca, se hace necesario establecer medidas de\nregulación tendientes a minimizar los conflictos generados por las\ninteracciones entre las diferentes pesquerías sobre el recurso atún y las\nespecies afines, es que se tiene como objetivo el marcaje o identificación del\narte de pesca de palangre.\n\n. Que según el\nDecreto Ejecutivo Nº 38681-MAG-MINAE publicado en el diario oficial La\nGaceta Nº 213 del 05 de noviembre 2014, establece en el artículo 11, inciso\nb, la obligatoriedad de que cada embarcación pesquera comercial de Mediana\nEscala y de Avanzada, identifiquen su palangre, a efecto de que con ello se\npermita identificar la propiedad del arte de pesca.\n\nACUERDAN:\n\n1º-Todas aquellas\nembarcaciones de la flota comercial de Mediana Escala y de Avanzada, que\nutilicen como arte de pesca el palangre deben identificarlo, de manera clara y\nlegible, mediante la rotulación del número de matrícula y del nombre de la\nembarcación a la que pertenece el arte de pesca, mediante el uso de pintura\npermanente de color fosforescente o mediante la adición al palangre de placa\nque permita identificar la propiedad del arte de pesca.\n\n2º-Para realizar la\nrotulación de los palangres, se debe anotar en al menos cada dos boyas o\ngalones, o bien en el caso de los palangres que tengan radioboyas; las letras\ny/o números correspondientes al nombre y matricula del barco.\n\nEn el caso de las boyas\no galones, cada letra o número debe ser grabada realizando una raya o un\npequeño canal (sin perforar las boyas o galones) y posteriormente en esa misma\nárea, colocar la rotulación con pintura permanente de color fosforescente.\n\nPara el caso de las\nradioboyas, estas deberán estar identificadas con el número de matrícula de la\nembarcación a la que pertenece, cada letra y número debe al menos ser lo\nsufrientemente grande para que sea legible, utilizando para dicha rotulación,\npintura permanente de color fosforescente o bien realizar el marcaje de manera\ntroquelada.\n\n3º-Todas las boyas\nque se encuentren junto a las banderas de cada palangre, deben ser marcados tal\ncomo se describe en el punto anterior.\n\n4º-Todo palangre debe\nser estar bien identificado con las letras y/o números fáciles de leer. Si la\nrotulación del palangre es ilegible o no es visible, el mismo puede ser\ndecomisado, en caso de que este siendo utilizado en faenas de pesca.\n\n5º-Los armadores y\ncapitanes son los responsables de velar por que los artes de pesca se\nencuentren siempre debidamente identificados, según la rotulación citada en los\nartículos anteriores.\n\nII- Libro de\nregistro de operaciones de pesca para ser utilizado en embarcaciones de pesca\ncomercial de Mediana Escala y pesca comercial Avanzada, durante las faenas de\npesca\n\nConsiderando:\n\nLibro de Registro de\nOperaciones de Pesca, según se señala en el artículo 105 de la Ley de pesca y\nAcuicultura Nº 8436, y en el Artículo 114 del Reglamento a la Ley de pesca y\nAcuicultura, es el equivalente a la bitácora que se indica en el Artículo 11\nInciso C, del Decreto Ejecutivo Nº 38681-MAG-MINAE.\n\nQue según el Decreto\nEjecutivo Nº 38681-MAG-MINAE, ORDENAMIENTO\nPARA EL APROVECHAMIENTO DE ATÚN Y ESPECIES AFINES EN LA ZONA ECONÓMICA\nEXCLUSIVA DEL OCÉANO PACÍFICO COSTARRICENSE y publicado en el diario oficial La\nGaceta N° 213 del 05 de noviembre 2014, establece en el artículo 11, inciso\nc, la obligatoriedad de que cada embarcación pesquera comercial de Mediana\nEscala y de Avanzada, debe mantener abordo una bitácora de pesca (libro de\nRegistro de Operaciones de pesca) y registrar toda la información de las\noperaciones de pesca que en ella se solicite, incluyendo entre otras, el\nobjetivo del viaje de pesca, los equipos y avituallamiento de la embarcación al\nmomento del zarpe, las posiciones de los lances de pesca, y cualquier otra\ninformación importante del viaje de pesca.\n\nQue la bitácora de pesca, es un compendio de\nformularios, de uso obligatorio para cada una de las embarcaciones de pesca\ncomercial de Mediana Escala y Avanzada, en el cual se debe registrar la\ndiferente información relativa al viaje de pesca, siendo dicha información que\nse registre confidencial, de manera que solo pueda ser utilizada para fines de\ninvestigación. La información colectada pueda ser utilizada por el INCOPESCA\npara determinar la efectividad de las medidas de manejo existentes o bien para\nmejorar las mismas, considerando que se busca que las bitácoras cuenten con\ninformación precisa y consistente con la pesquería realizada por las\nembarcaciones de pesca comercial de Mediana Escala y Avanzada.\n\nEl Libro de Registro de Operaciones de Pesca,\nestará compuesto de dos secciones:\n\n1) Información\nrelacionada al objetivo del viaje de pesca, los equipos y el avituallamiento de\nla embarcación al momento del zarpe, la descripción del arte de pesca.\nIgualmente se consignaran los números de formularios correspondientes a los\nformularios de lances y formulario de trasbordo, que no serán parte del libro\nde registro de operaciones de pesca (bitácora), pero que deberán ser aportados\ndebidamente complementados por el capitán, al momento de la descarga.\n\n2) Los formularios de\nregistro de lances y el formulario de trasbordo, serán entregados a cada dueño\nde embarcación de mediana escala y avanzada, junto con el libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca.\n\nSección 1º-Viaje\nde pesca, avituallamiento y descripción del arte de pesca. Esta sección\nconsiderara las siguientes variables a registrar:\n\nViaje de pesca\n\nNombre de la\nembarcación:\nColocar el nombre de la embarcación a la que pertenece el cuaderno de bitácora,\ny que realiza el viaje de pesca.\n\nMatrícula de la embarcación: Código proporcionado por la Autoridad competente para la\nidentificación de la embarcación, mediante la cual se otorga el permiso de\nnavegación.\n\nNombre del capitán: Registrar el nombre\ndel Capitán que dirigió la faena de pesca.\n\nNúmero de licencia de\npesca:\nRegistrar el número de licencia de pesca, documento otorgado por el INCOPESCA.\n\nNúmero de zarpe: Anotar el número de\nidentificación oficial del zarpe que se le emite a la embarcación para que\npueda proceder a realizar su faena de pesca.\n\nFecha del zarpe: Coloque la fecha en\nla cual la embarcación salió a la faena de pesca. Dicha información se obtendrá\ndel Permiso de Zarpe otorgado por la Autoridad Competente.\n\nPuerto de salida de\nla embarcación:\nColoque el nombre oficial del lugar donde se realiza el zarpe la embarcación.\n\nFecha de salida de la\nembarcación: indicar la fecha en que la embarcación zarpa a realizar su faena\nde pesca\n\nMuelle de arribo: Coloque el nombre\noficial del lugar donde atraca la embarcación.\n\nMuelle de desembarque: Coloque el nombre\noficial del lugar donde se realiza el desembarque\n\nFecha de arribo: Colocar la fecha en\nque la embarcación llegó al sito de desembarque después de realizar su faena de\npesca\n\nFecha del desembarque: Coloque la fecha en\nla cual se inicia la inspección del desembarque. La fecha debe escribirse de la\nsiguiente forma: día, mes y año separándolas por un guion. En el caso del día y\nel mes utilizar dos dígitos y en el año los cuatro dígitos, de manera a evitar\nconfusión o falta de información al tabular la misma.\n\nFecha del primer\nlance:\nindicar la fecha que se realiza el primer lance de pesca.\n\nFecha del último\nlance:\nindicar la fecha que se realiza el último lance de pesca.\n\nDías efectivos de\npesca:\nConsiderar días efectivos de pesca como el número de días en que se realizaron\nlances de pesca.\n\nPesca objetivo: anotar la especie a\nla que dirige la pesca.\n\nNúmero de lances: Coloque el número\ntotal de lances efectuados durante la faena de pesca.\n\nNúmero de tripulantes: anotar el número\ntotal de tripulantes que participan en la embarcación y realizan la faena de\npesca.\n\nObservador a bordo: anotar \"si\" o \"no\" dependiendo\nde si durante el viaje de pesca la embarcación lleva observador abordo.\n\nNúmero de\nformulario(s) de trasbordo(s): si la embarcación transbordó producto en\naltamar, la embarcación debe completar el formulario de solicitud de\ntransbordos y anotar en este espacio el número de formulario al que corresponde\ncada uno de los trasbordos.\n\nNúmero de\nformulario(s) de lances(s): La embarcación debe completar el formulario de registro\nde lances y anotar en este espacio el número de formulario al que corresponden\nlos lances por viaje de pesca.\n\nAvituallamiento\n\nValor total del\nalisto:\nanotar el costo total del viaje de pesca al zarpar la embarcación (comida,\nagua, combustible, hielo, productos de higiene, entre otros)\n\nCantidad de carnada\npor especie:\nanotar la cantidad estimada en kg por tipo de carnada\n\nMétodo de\nconservación del producto: anotar el método usado para conservar la captura\nabordo: a) hielo, b) congelado, c) hielo y congelado.\n\nCantidad de hielo\nutilizado:\nEn el caso que la captura sea conservada con hielo, es necesario anotar la\ncantidad de hielo en kg.\n\nMáquina de hielo: El barco posee\nsistema de enfriamiento diferente al hielo:\n\nOtros gastos del\nviaje: anotar otros gastos en\nque se tuviera que incurrir durante el viaje y el valor de los mismos.\n\nDescripción general\ndel arte de pesca\n\nLargo del palangre: Anotar en millas\nnáuticas el largo total del palangre. La distancia que existe desde que la\nprimer bandera de la línea hasta donde se tira la última bandera.\n\nProfundidad a la que utiliza\nel palangre:\nColoque la profundidad promedio del caladero o sitio en cual se realiza la\nfaena de pesca. Especificar el valor en metros o en brazas.\n\nDistancia entre\nanzuelos:\nregistrar la distancia entre cada anzuelo. Indicar la distancia en brazas.\n\nNúmero de anzuelos\nentre boyas:\nEscriba la cantidad de anzuelos ubicados entre cada boya.\n\nNúmero de radioboyas: Escriba la cantidad\nde radioboyas utilizadas en la línea madre.\n\nNúmero de boyas entre\nbanderas:\nEscriba la cantidad de boyas o galones ubicados entre una bandera y otra.\n\nNúmero de banderas\nentre radioboyas:\nEscribir el número de banderas ubicadas entre cada una de las radioboyas.\n\nNúmero total de\nanzuelos utilizados en el palangre: Anotar la cantidad promedio de Anzuelos\nutilizados en cada uno de los lances de pesca.\n\nTamaño de anzuelo: especificar el\ntamaño de los anzuelos utilizados durante la faena de pesca.\n\nLargo del boyero o\nbajante:\nAnotar la longitud de la \"mecatilla\" que se encuentra entre el flotador y la\nlínea madre. Indicar la longitud en brazas.\n\nLargo del reinal o\nchilillo:\nEscriba la distancia promedio que existe desde la gacilla que sostiene el\nreinal a la línea madre, hasta el anzuelo. Indicar la longitud en brazas.\n\nReinal inferior de\nacero:\nIndicar si el reinal o chilillo utiliza un cable de acero para sujetar el\nanzuelo y anotar con una \"x\" las opciones: sí o no.\n\nPérdida de equipo de\npesca:\nEn caso que se pierdan boyas o radio boyas marcadas con el número de matrícula\ny nombre de la embarcación durante la faena de pesca, es necesario que el\ncapitán anote las coordenadas donde se ha perdido y el tamaño o cantidad del\nequipo que se estaría perdiendo.\n\nEl libro de\noperaciones de pesca, deberá estar debidamente foliado por el Departamento\nlegal del INCOPESCA y el permisionario asumirá los costos tanto del Libro de\noperación de pesca, como el costo de los formularios de lances y del formulario\nde trasbordo.\n\nIII) Formularios\n\nHoja de Lances\n\n \n\n \n\n2) El Marcaje de\nequipos de pesca de las embarcaciones comerciales de Mediana Escala y Avanzada\nrige un mes transcurrido después de su publicación, y el L i b r o de registro\nde operaciones de pesca para ser utilizado en embarcaciones de pesca comercial\nde Mediana Escala y pesca comercial Avanzada, durante las faenas de pesca, así\ncomo los Formularios, regirán tres meses después de su publicación.\n\n            3) Acuerdo Firme.",
  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Standard 115\n\n                        All vessels of the medium-scale and advanced commercial fleet\nthat use longline as fishing gear must identify it clearly and legibly by\nmarking the registration number and name of the vessel to which it belongs\n\nFull Text of Acta: 10CB38\n\nCOSTA RICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES\n\nAND AQUACULTURE\n\nAJDIP/115-2016.-Puntarenas,\non the eleventh day of March, two thousand and sixteen.\n\nConsidering:\n\n1st-That in\nordinary session No. 08-2016, Mr. Antonio Porras Porras, Technical Director\nGeneral, proceeded to present and submit for consideration by the Board\nDirectors, the proposed Agreements regarding: 1) The Marking of fishing gear of\nMedium-Scale and Advanced commercial vessels, 2) The Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de registro\nde operaciones de pesca) to be used on commercial Medium-Scale and Advanced\ncommercial fishing vessels, during fishing trips, and 3) The Sets and\nTransshipments Registry Forms per fishing trip; which seek to address the\ncontrol and management measures established in Article 11 of Executive Decree\nNo. 38681-MAG-MINAE, Management Plan for the Harvesting of Tuna and Related Species in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Costa Rican Pacific Ocean (Ordenamiento para el Aprovechamiento de Atún y Especies Afines en la Zona Económica Exclusiva del Océano Pacífico Costarricense), which arose from the commitments previously\nacquired by the longline sector by reason of the establishment and\nimplementation of this management regulation.\n\n2nd-That for the purpose of their approval, these proposals were brought to\nthe attention of the Board Directors, as provided in Agreement\nAJDIP/093-2016.\n\n3rd-That\nbased on the considerations cited above, the Board Directors consider it\nappropriate to favorably address the approval of these operational instruments,\nreason for which, the Board of Directors, Therefore,\n\nHEREBY AGREES:\n\n1st-To accept and approve\nthe proposals for 1) The Marking of fishing gear of commercial Medium-Scale and\nAdvanced vessels, 2) The Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca) to be used on commercial Medium-Scale fishing vessels and\nAdvanced commercial fishing, during fishing trips, and 3) The\nSets and Transshipments Registry Forms per fishing trip, presented\nby Mr. Antonio Porras Porras, Technical Director General, pursuant to what is\nestablished in Article 11 of Executive Decree No. 38681-MAG-MINAE,\nManagement Plan for the Harvesting of Tuna and Related Species in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Costa Rican Pacific Ocean (Ordenamiento para el Aprovechamiento de Atún y Especies Afines en la Zona Económica Exclusiva del Océano Pacífico Costarricense); which is carried out in the\nfollowing terms and conditions:\n\nI- Marking of\nfishing gear of commercial Medium-Scale and Advanced vessels.\n\n. That in accordance\nwith the provisions of Laws No. 7384 of March 16, 1994, Law Creating the Costa\nRican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, and No. 8436 of March 1,\n2005, Fisheries and Aquaculture Law, it is the responsibility of INCOPESCA to dictate\nthe measures that regulate and govern the harvesting of hydrobiological\nresources, in accordance with the availability and conservation of\nfishery resources, but in direct relation to the development\nand sustainability needs of the Costa Rican fishing sector, based on\nscientific, technical, economic, or social studies.\n\n. That having\ncoordinated with the longline fishing sector, those directly involved in the\nuse of the longline fishing gear (arte de pesca del palangre) and keeping in mind the mode of operation and\nassembly of this fishing gear, it is necessary to establish regulatory\nmeasures aimed at minimizing the conflicts generated by\ninteractions among the different fisheries for the tuna resource and\nrelated species, having as an objective the marking or identification of\nthe longline fishing gear.\n\n. That according to\nExecutive Decree No. 38681-MAG-MINAE published in the official gazette La\nGaceta No. 213 of November 05, 2014, it establishes in Article 11, subsection\nb, the obligation for each Medium-Scale and Advanced commercial fishing vessel\nto identify its longline, so as to\nallow identification of the ownership of the fishing gear.\n\nTHEY AGREE:\n\n1st-All those\nvessels of the Medium-Scale and Advanced commercial fleet, that\nuse longline as fishing gear must identify it, clearly and\nlegibly, by marking the vessel's registration number and the name of the\nvessel to which the fishing gear belongs, using\npermanent phosphorescent-colored paint or by adding a\nplate to the longline that allows identification of the fishing gear's ownership.\n\n2nd-To carry out the\nmarking of the longlines, it must be noted on at least every two buoys or\nplastic floats (galones), or in the case of longlines that have radio buoys, the letters\nand/or numbers corresponding to the vessel's name and registration.\n\nIn the case of buoys\nor plastic floats (galones), each letter or number must be engraved by making a line or a\nsmall channel (without perforating the buoys or plastic floats), and subsequently in that same\narea, place the marking with permanent phosphorescent-colored paint.\n\nIn the case of\nradio buoys, these must be identified with the registration number of the\nvessel to which they belong; each letter and number must at least be sufficiently large to be legible, using for said marking,\npermanent phosphorescent-colored paint or by performing the marking in a\nstamped manner.\n\n3rd-All the buoys\nthat are found next to the flags of each longline must be marked as\ndescribed in the previous point.\n\n4th-Every longline must\nbe well identified with letters and/or numbers that are easy to read. If the\nmarking of the longline is illegible or not visible, it may be\nseized, in the event that it is being used in fishing trips.\n\n5th-The vessel owners (armadores) and\ncaptains are responsible for ensuring that the fishing gear is\nalways duly identified, according to the marking cited in the\nprevious articles.\n\nII- Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca) to be used on commercial Medium-Scale fishing vessels and\nAdvanced commercial fishing, during fishing trips\n\nConsidering:\n\nThe Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de Registro de\nOperaciones de Pesca), as indicated in Article 105 of the Fisheries and\nAquaculture Law No. 8436, and in Article 114 of the Regulations to the Fisheries and\nAquaculture Law, is the equivalent of the logbook (bitácora) indicated in Article 11\nSubsection C, of Executive Decree No. 38681-MAG-MINAE.\n\nThat according to Executive Decree\nNo. 38681-MAG-MINAE, MANAGEMENT PLAN\nFOR THE HARVESTING OF TUNA AND RELATED SPECIES IN THE EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC\nZONE OF THE COSTA RICAN PACIFIC OCEAN (ORDENAMIENTO\nPARA EL APROVECHAMIENTO DE ATÚN Y ESPECIES AFINES EN LA ZONA ECONÓMICA\nEXCLUSIVA DEL OCÉANO PACÍFICO COSTARRICENSE) and published in the official gazette La\nGaceta No. 213 of November 05, 2014, establishes in Article 11, subsection\nc, the obligation for each Medium-Scale and Advanced commercial fishing vessel\nto keep on board a fishing logbook (bitácora) (Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de\nRegistro de Operaciones de pesca)) and record all the information on\nfishing operations requested therein, including among others, the\nobjective of the fishing trip, the vessel's equipment and provisioning at the\ntime of departure, the positions of the fishing sets, and any other\nimportant information on the fishing trip.\n\nThat the fishing logbook (bitácora) is a compendium of\nforms, of mandatory use for each of the Medium-Scale and Advanced commercial fishing\nvessels, in which the different information relating to the fishing trip must be recorded, such recorded\ninformation being confidential, so that it can only be used for research purposes. The information collected may be used by INCOPESCA\nto determine the effectiveness of existing management measures or to\nimprove them, considering that the goal is for the logbooks (bitácoras) to have\nprecise and consistent information on the fishery conducted by the\nMedium-Scale and Advanced commercial fishing vessels.\n\nThe Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de Registro de Operaciones de Pesca)\nwill be composed of two sections:\n\n1) Information\nrelated to the objective of the fishing trip, the vessel's equipment and provisioning at the\ntime of departure, and the description of the fishing gear.\nLikewise, the form numbers corresponding to the\nsets forms and the transshipment form will be recorded, which will not be part of the Fishing Operations Logbook (libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca) (bitácora), but must be provided\nduly completed by the captain, at the time of landing.\n\n2) The sets\nregistry forms and the transshipment form will be delivered to each owner\nof a medium-scale and advanced vessel, along with the Fishing Operations Logbook (libro de registro de\noperaciones de pesca).\n\nSection 1st-Fishing\ntrip, provisioning, and description of the fishing gear. This section\nwill consider the following variables to be recorded:\n\nFishing trip\n\nVessel name:\nEnter the name of the vessel to which the logbook (cuaderno de bitácora) belongs,\nand which undertakes the fishing trip.\n\nVessel registration: Code provided by the competent Authority for\nvessel identification, through which the navigation permit is granted.\n\nCaptain's name: Record the name\nof the Captain who directed the fishing trip.\n\nFishing license number:\nRecord the fishing license number, a document issued by INCOPESCA.\n\nDeparture number: Note the official\nidentification number of the departure authorization (zarpe) issued to the vessel so that it\ncan proceed to carry out its fishing trip.\n\nDeparture date: Enter the date on\nwhich the vessel left for the fishing trip. This information will be obtained\nfrom the Departure Permit (Permiso de Zarpe) issued by the Competent Authority.\n\nVessel's port of departure:\nEnter the official name of the place where the vessel's departure (zarpe) occurs.\n\nVessel departure date: indicate the date on which the vessel departs (zarpa) to carry out its fishing trip.\n\nArrival dock: Enter the official name\nof the place where the vessel docks.\n\nLanding dock: Enter the official name\nof the place where the landing is carried out.\n\nArrival date: Enter the date on\nwhich the vessel arrived at the landing site after carrying out its fishing trip.\n\nLanding date: Enter the date on\nwhich the landing inspection begins. The date must be written in the\nfollowing form: day, month, and year separated by a hyphen. In the case of the day and\nmonth, use two digits, and for the year, four digits, in order to avoid\nconfusion or lack of information when tabulating it.\n\nDate of first set:\nindicate the date on which the first fishing set was made.\n\nDate of last set:\nindicate the date on which the last fishing set was made.\n\nEffective fishing days:\nConsider effective fishing days as the number of days on which\nfishing sets were made.\n\nTarget catch: note the species\ntowards which the fishing is directed.\n\nNumber of sets: Enter the total number\nof sets made during the fishing trip.\n\nNumber of crew members: note the total number\nof crew members participating on the vessel and carrying out the fishing trip.\n\nObserver on board: note \"yes\" or \"no\" depending on\nwhether during the fishing trip the vessel carries an observer on board.\n\nTransshipment form(s) number(s): if the vessel transshipped product on\nthe high seas, the vessel must complete the transshipment request form and note in this space the form number to which each of the\ntransshipments corresponds.\n\nSets form(s) number(s): The vessel must complete the sets\nregistry form and note in this space the form number to which the sets\nper fishing trip correspond.\n\nProvisioning\n\nTotal outfitting cost:\nnote the total cost of the fishing trip upon the vessel's departure (food,\nwater, fuel, ice, hygiene products, among others).\n\nQuantity of bait\nper species:\nnote the estimated quantity in kg by type of bait.\n\nProduct preservation method: note the method used to preserve the catch\non board: a) ice, b) frozen, c) ice and frozen.\n\nQuantity of ice used:\nIn the event that the catch is preserved with ice, it is necessary to note the\nquantity of ice in kg.\n\nIce machine: The vessel has a\ncooling system other than ice:\n\nOther trip expenses: note other expenses\nincurred during the trip and their value.\n\nGeneral description\nof the fishing gear\n\nLength of the longline: Note in nautical\nmiles the total length of the longline. The distance from the\nfirst flag of the line to where the last flag is cast.\n\nDepth at which the longline\nis used:\nEnter the average depth of the fishing ground or site where the\nfishing trip is carried out. Specify the value in meters or in fathoms.\n\nDistance between hooks:\nrecord the distance between each hook. Indicate the distance in fathoms.\n\nNumber of hooks\nbetween buoys:\nWrite the number of hooks located between each buoy.\n\nNumber of radio buoys: Write the number\nof radio buoys used on the mainline.\n\nNumber of buoys between\nflags:\nWrite the number of buoys or plastic floats (galones) located between one flag and another.\n\nNumber of flags\nbetween radio buoys:\nWrite the number of flags located between each of the radio buoys.\n\nTotal number of\nhooks used in the longline: Note the average number of hooks used in each of the\nfishing sets.\n\nHook size: specify the\nsize of the hooks used during the fishing trip.\n\nLength of the buoy line or dropper (boyero o bajante):\nNote the length of the line (\"mecatilla\") between the float and the\nmainline. Indicate the length in fathoms.\n\nLength of the branch line or snood (reinal o chilillo):\nWrite the average distance from the clip (gacilla) that holds the\nbranch line to the mainline, up to the hook. Indicate the length in fathoms.\n\nLower branch line (reinal) of steel:\nIndicate if the branch line or snood (reinal o chilillo) uses a steel cable to hold the\nhook and mark with an \"x\" the options: yes or no.\n\nLoss of fishing gear:\nIn the event that buoys or radio buoys marked with the vessel's registration number\nand name are lost during the fishing trip, it is necessary for the\ncaptain to note the coordinates where the loss occurred and the size or quantity of the\ngear that was lost.\n\nThe Fishing Operations Logbook (libro de\noperaciones de pesca) must be duly paginated by the Legal Department of INCOPESCA, and the permit holder will assume the costs of both the Fishing Operations Logbook (Libro de\noperación de pesca), and the cost of the sets forms and the transshipment form.\n\nIII) Forms\n\nSets Sheet\n\n \n\n \n\n2) The Marking of\nfishing gear of commercial Medium-Scale and Advanced vessels\ntakes effect one month after its publication, and the Fishing Operations Logbook (L i b r o de registro\nde operaciones de pesca) to be used on commercial Medium-Scale fishing vessels and\nAdvanced commercial fishing, during fishing trips, as well as the Forms, will take effect three months after their publication.\n\n            3) Firm Agreement."
