a las asociaciones\nsimples, federadas o confederadas, cuyo desarrollo y actividades sean particularmente útiles para\nlos intereses del Estado, y que por ello contribuyan a solventar una necesidad social.\n\nII.-Que la Asociación Administradora del Acueducto y Alcantarillado\nRural de Bananito Norte y Sur de Limón, cédula de persona jurídica número\n3-002-558824, se inscribió en el Registro de Asociaciones del Registro Nacional\ndesde el día cinco de diciembre del dos mil ocho, tomo: 575, asiento: 51691.\n\nIII.-Que los fines\nprimordiales que persigue la Asociación, según sus estatutos, son: \"Administrar,\noperar, dar mantenimiento, desarrollo y conservar en buenas condiciones el\nacueducto, de conformidad con las disposiciones y reglamentos que al respecto\nemita el Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados que serán de\nacatamiento obligatorio. b) Obtener la participación efectiva de la comunidad,\nen la construcción, operación, mantenimiento y desarrollo del acueducto. c)\nColaboración en los programas y campañas de índole educativa que se emprendan.\nd) Ayudar a explicar y divulgar en la comunidad las disposiciones y reglamentos\ndel Instituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados. e) Cooperar con\nlos planes, proyectos y obras que emprenda el Instituto Costarricense de\nAcueductos y Alcantarillados en la comunidad. fi Participar en asuntos\nrelativos a la administración, conservación y explotación racional del agua;\ncontrol de su contaminación o alteración, definición de las medidas y las\nacciones necesarias para la protección de las cuencas hidrográficas y la estabilidad\necológica. g) Velar porque todos los sistemas y sus instalaciones del acueducto\ny alcantarillado sanitario, cumplan con los principios básicos del servicio\npúblico, tanto en calidad, cobertura, eficiencia, racionalización de gastos,\netc. h) Otorgar los servicios públicos, en forma eficiente, igualitaria y\noportunidad a todos los usuarios, sin
