para los intereses del Estado y que por ello\ncontribuyan a solventar una necesidad social.\n\nII.-La Asociación\nAdministradora del Acueducto y Alcantarillado Sanitario de Verbena Sur,\ndistrito noveno, cantón quinto de la provincia de Cartago, cédula de persona\njurídica N° 3-002-324542, se inscribió en el Registro de Asociaciones del\nRegistro Nacional, desde el 28 de junio del 2002, bajo el expediente 14440, tomo\n504 y asiento 2329.\n\nIII.-Los fines\nque persigue la Asociación Administradora del Acueducto y Alcantarillado\nSanitario de Verbena Sur, Distrito Noveno, Cantón Quinto de la Provincia de\nCartago, cédula de persona jurídica número 3-002-324542, según sus estatutos\nson: \"a) Administrar, operar, dar mantenimiento, desarrollo y conservar\nen buenas condiciones el acueducto, de conformidad con las disposiciones\ny reglamentos que al respeto emite el Instituto Costarricense de\nAcueductos y Alcantarillados que serán de acatamiento obligatorio. b)\nObtener la participación efectiva de la comunidad, en la construcción,\noperación, mantenimiento y desarrollo del acueducto. c) Colaborar en los\nprogramas y campañas de índole educativa que se emprendan. d) Ayudar a\nexplicar y divulgar en la comunidad las disposiciones y reglamentos del\nInstituto Costarricense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados. e) Cooperar con\nlos planes, proyectos y obras que emprenda el Instituto Costarricense de\nAcueductos y Alcantarillados en la comunidad. f) Participar en asuntos\nrelativos a la administración, conservación y explotación racional de\nlas aguas; control de su contaminación o alteración, definición de las\nmedidas y acciones necesarias para la protección de las cuencas\nhidrográficas y la estabilidad ecológica. g) Velar porque todos los\nsistemas sus instalaciones de acueductos o alcantarillados sanitario,\ncumplan los principios básicos del servicio público, tanto en calidad,\ncantidad, cobertura, eficiencia, acionalización de gastos etc. h)\nOtorgar los servicios públicos, en forma eficiente, igualitaria y\noportuna a todos sus usuarios, sin distinciones de ninguna naturaleza.\"\n\nIV.-Tales fines\nsolventan una necesidad social de primer orden, por lo cual merecen el apoyo\ndel Estado costarricense. control of their contamination or alteration, definition of the measures and actions necessary for the protection of hydrographic basins and ecological stability. g) Ensure that all systems and their aqueduct or sanitary sewer installations comply with the basic principles of public service, in terms of quality, quantity, coverage, efficiency, cost rationalization, etc. h) Provide public services efficiently, equally, and timely to all its users, without distinctions of any nature.\"\n\nIV.-Such purposes solve a social need of the highest order, for which they deserve the support of the Costa Rican State.
