  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Standard 006\n\n                        Cancels boundary marker No. 16 belonging to the delimitation of the public zone of\nthe Maritime Terrestrial Zone in the Playa Quizales sector, Cóbano de Puntarenas\n\nNATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE\n\nTOPOGRAPHIC AND TERRITORY OBSERVATION\n\nDEPARTMENT\n\nNOTICE No. 2021-006\n\nMARITIME TERRESTRIAL ZONE\n\nCANCELLATION OF BOUNDARY MARKER No. 16 BELONGING\n\nTO\nTHE DELIMITATION OF THE PUBLIC ZONE OF\n\nTHE\nMARITIME TERRESTRIAL ZONE IN THE\n\nSECTOR\nOF PLAYA QUIZALES\n\nBased on the provisions of articles 140 and 240 of Law No. 6227\nGeneral Law of Public Administration dated May 2, 1978; Law\nNo. 59 Law of Creation and Organization of the National Geographic Institute of\nJuly 4, 1944; Law No. 8905 Reform of article 2 of Law No. 5695,\nCreation of the National Registry, and its reforms; and modification of Law No.\n59, Creation and Organization of the National Geographic Institute, of July\n4, 1944, and its reforms dated December 7, 2010; Law No. 6043 Law\non the Maritime Terrestrial Zone of March 2, 1977, with its respective\nregulation and; articles 2 and 3 of Law No. 5695 Law of Creation of the National\nRegistry dated May 28, 1975 and its reforms.\n\nConsidering:\n\nI.-That by means of law No. 8905 the National Geographic Institute is established,\nhereinafter IGN, as a dependency of the National Registry, which shall sign\nthe contracts and agreements necessary for the exercise of its functions.\nLikewise, in accordance with law No. 59, the IGN is the scientific\nand technical dependency governing national cartography, destined for the\nexecution of the official basic Map and the basic geographic Description of the\nRepublic of Costa Rica and for the studies, investigations or work and the\ndevelopment of national policies of a cartographic, geographic,\ngeodetic, geophysical nature and of a similar kind that are related to said works,\nin order to support planning processes.\n\nII.-That\nLaw No. 59 constitutes the IGN permanently and in representation of the\nState, as the official authority in geodetic matters and in the spatial representation\nof the geography of the Republic of Costa Rica, its authority extending\nto activities of any order that originate from the work entrusted to its charge.\n\nIII.-That\nin accordance with law No. 59; article 62 of Executive Decree No.\n7841-P called Regulation to the Law on the Maritime Terrestrial Zone\nrecognizes the competence of the IGN for the delimitation of the public zone of the\nMaritime Terrestrial Zone, and its officialization through publication in the\nOfficial Gazette La Gaceta; article 63 of Executive Decree No. 7841-P\nindicates that The National Geographic Institute must publish a notice in the Official\nGazette, for each portion of the maritime-terrestrial zone in which it has demarcated the\npublic zone.\n\nIV.-That through La Gaceta No. 55 of March 22, 1982, page 17, the\nofficialization of the boundary marking (amojonamiento) of the public zone in Playa Playitas, Playa Quizales and Playa Tambor\ndistrict 12° Cóbano, canton 01° Puntarenas, province 06° of Puntarenas was carried out, under the establishment of\n14 boundary markers (mojones) numbered from 06 to 19.\n\nV.-That through Notice No. 96-6, published on page 12 of La Gaceta No. 46 of Tuesday, March 5,\n1996, the officialization of the boundary marking of the public zone in Playa Piedra\nColorada, district 12° Cóbano, canton 01° Puntarenas, province 06° of Puntarenas was carried out, under the\nestablishment of 20 boundary markers numbered from 500 to 519.\n\nVI.-That\nthrough Notice No. 96-6, published on page 12 of La Gaceta No. 46\nof Tuesday, March 5, 1996, boundary marker No. 16\nofficialized in La Gaceta No. 55 of March 22, 1982 should have been cancelled.\n\nVII.-That article 140 of Law No. 6227 General Law of Public Administration, indicates that \"the\nadministrative act shall produce its effect after being communicated to the administered party, except if it grants\nonly rights, in which case it shall produce it from the moment it is adopted,\" a provision that necessarily\nmust be related to numeral 240) of the same regulatory body, which defines the suitable\ninstrument for communicating acts of a generic nature by stating: \"General acts shall be communicated by publication\nand specific acts, by notification.\"\n\nCOMMUNICATES:\n\n1°-Proceeding to cancel boundary marker No. 16 belonging to the delimitation of\nthe public zone of the Maritime Terrestrial Zone in the Playa Quizales sector, of Cóbano de\nPuntarenas, published in La Gaceta No. 55 of March 22, 1982.\n\n2°-Effective\nas of its publication.\n\nGiven in Curridabat, San José, on the 01 day of the month of September of the year 2021."
