  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Complete Text of Norm 030\n\n                        Amendment to agreement AJDIP/247-2022 solely for medium-scale\nTourist and Sport Fishing vessels\n\nCOSTA RICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE\n\nAJDIP/030-2023.-Puntarenas, on the seventh day of the month of\nFebruary of two thousand twenty-three.\n\nConsidering:\n\n1.-That through agreement AJDIP/076-2022, Agreement AJDIP/077-2020 is repealed, for which purpose a new \"Regulation for the Monitoring, Control and Surveillance of Fishing Vessels of the National and Foreign Fleets\" is issued, with the objective of harmonizing and regulating the measures on monitoring, control and surveillance of vessels of the national and foreign fishing fleet, in addition to resolving a series of gaps in light of new regulations and availability of technologies.\n\n2.-That in this new regulation, its Second Transitory Provision establishes the implementation of radio beacons for tourist and sport fishing vessels, once six months have elapsed from the entry into force of said agreement.\n\n3.-That through Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/247-2022, an amendment to the Second Transitory Provision of Agreement AJDIP/076-2022 is approved, extending its entry into force to February 28, 2023.\n\n4.-That it is necessary to provide clarification regarding the tourist and sport fleet to which the provisions of AJDIP/247-2022 will be applicable, which for such purposes corresponds to the medium-scale tourist and sport fleet, which must implement the use of the beacon by the date of February 28, 2023.\n\n5.-That having duly analyzed the foregoing, the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Therefore,\n\nRESOLVES:\n\n1°-That in relation to the provisions of Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/247-2022, the same shall be applicable solely to medium-scale Tourist and Sport Fishing vessels, for which the provisions of said agreement shall take effect as of February 28, 2023.\n\n2°-Firm agreement.\n\n3°-Let it be published."
