  "body_en_text": "throughout the entire text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Full Text of Regulation 033\n\n                        Amendment to Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/017-2023, \"Amendment to Management Measures for the use of live bait for the commercial fishing fleet and sport fishing in the Costa Rican Pacific Ocean\"\n\nCOSTA RICAN INSTITUTE\nOF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE\n\nAJDIP/033-2023.-Puntarenas, on the twenty-first day of February, two thousand twenty-three.\n\nConsidering\n\n1º-That it is the responsibility of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INCOPESCA) to coordinate the fisheries sector, as well as to promote and manage the development of Fisheries and Aquaculture.\n\n2º-That through Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/017-2023, Board of Directors Agreement AJDIP/280-2014 is amended, for the purpose of reducing the percentage of bycatch (pesca incidental) of Pacific Sailfish (Istiophorus platypterus), established through Article 8 of AJDIP/280-2014, so that it changes from 15% to 10% of the permitted bycatch percentage.\n\n3º-That it is necessary to provide a clarification regarding the application of the provisions of AJDIP/017-2023, such that for those vessels that are in the middle of fishing trips at the time of publication of this Agreement, it shall apply from the moment they set sail again on a date subsequent to its publication in the Official Gazette La Gaceta.\n\n4.
