Posteriormente se deroga\nnuevamente esta norma mediante acuerdo\nN° AJDIP/162-2024 del 2 de julio del 2024)\n\nAJDIP/116-2023.-Puntarenas, a los seis días del mes junio\nde dos mil veintitrés.\n\nConsiderando:\n\n1°-Que por medio de los Acuerdos de Junta Directiva\nAJDIP/077-2020, AJDIP/076-2022, AJDIP/247-2022, AJDIP/030-2023 y\nAJDIP/031-2023, respectivamente, se estableció el \"Reglamento para el\nSeguimiento, Control y Vigilancia de Embarcaciones Pesqueras de las Flotas\nNacional y Extranjera\", mismo que conlleva la obligatoriedad para las\nembarcaciones de la flota pesquera nacional y extranjera de contar debidamente\ninstalada y en uso un sistema de radio baliza enlazada con el Centro de\nControl, Monitoreo y Vigilancia del INCOPESCA.\n\n2°-Que en esas disposiciones reglamentarias no sólo se contempló la\nobligatoriedad dicha; sino que comprenden plazos diferenciados de entrada en\nvigencia para las diversas flotas pesqueras; entre las cuales se encuentran las\nembarcaciones pertenecientes a la flota de pesca deportiva y turística de\nmediana escala, última de las cuales ha sido incorporada y para la cual se\ntenía en principio su entrada en vigencia a partir del 15 de junio del 2023.\n\n3°-Que, por medio del sector de pesca deportiva y turística, se recibe\nsolicitud de prórroga del plazo para la entrada en vigencia para la instalación\nde balizas para la flota de pesca deportiva y turística, fundamentada\nprincipalmente en la complejidad de llevar a cabo las coordinaciones necesarias\nque implica la implementación de éstas, en cuanto a la instalación de equipos y\nsoftware.\n\n4°-Que, debidamente analizada la modificación propuesta y por considerarla\nprocedente, la Junta Directiva del Instituto Costarricense de Pesca y\nAcuicultura, Por tanto;\n\nAcuerda\n\n1°-Aprobar la solicitud de prórroga\nsolicitada y modificar el acuerdo de Junta Directiva AJDIP/076-2022, en su\nTransitorio II, para que en lo sucesivo se lea de la siguiente manera:\n\nTransitorio II: \"Para las embarcaciones de Pesca\nDeportiva y Turística de mediana escala, el presente reglamento será aplicable\na partir del 01 de enero del año 2024\".\n\n2°-Dejar sin efecto el Acuerdo de Junta Directiva\nAJDIP/031-2023.\n\n3°-Acuerdo firme.\n\n4°-Publíquese.",
  "body_en_text": "in the entirety of the text\n\n                    -\n\n                        Complete Text of Regulation 116\n\n                        Amendment to the Regulation for the tracking, control and surveillance of\nfishing vessels of the national and foreign fleets (AJDIP/076-2022.)\n\nCOSTA RICAN INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE\n\n(This regulation was rendered ineffective by agreement No. AJDIP/312-2023 of December 19, 2023. Subsequently, this regulation is repealed\nagain by agreement\nNo. AJDIP/162-2024 of July 2, 2024)\n\nAJDIP/116-2023.-Puntarenas, on the sixth day of June\ntwo thousand twenty-three.\n\nWhereas:\n\n1°-That through Board of Directors Agreements\nAJDIP/077-2020, AJDIP/076-2022, AJDIP/247-2022, AJDIP/030-2023 and\nAJDIP/031-2023, respectively, the \"Regulation for the\nTracking, Control and Surveillance of Fishing Vessels of the National\nand Foreign Fleets\" was established, which entails the obligation for\nvessels of the national and foreign fishing fleet to have duly\ninstalled and in use a radio beacon system linked to the\nMonitoring, Control and Surveillance Center of INCOPESCA.\n\n2°-That those regulatory provisions not only contemplated said\nobligation, but also comprise differentiated effective dates\nof entry into force for the various fishing fleets, among which are the\nvessels belonging to the medium-scale sport and tourist fishing\nfleet, the last of which has been incorporated and for which its\nentry into force was initially set as of June 15, 2023.\n\n3°-That, through the sport and tourist fishing sector, a\nrequest for an extension of the deadline for the entry into force for the installation\nof beacons for the sport and tourist fishing fleet is received, based\nmainly on the complexity of carrying out the necessary coordination\ninvolved in their implementation, regarding the installation of equipment and\nsoftware.\n\n4°-That, having duly analyzed the proposed amendment and considering it\nappropriate, the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and\nAquaculture, Therefore;\n\nAgrees\n\n1°-To approve the requested extension\nand amend Board of Directors agreement AJDIP/076-2022, in its\nTransitional Provision II, so that henceforth it reads as follows:\n\nTransitional Provision II: \"For medium-scale Sport\nand Tourist Fishing vessels, this regulation shall be applicable\nas of January 1, 2024.\"\n\n2°-To render ineffective Board of Directors Agreement\nAJDIP/031-2023.\n\n3°-This agreement is final.\n\n4°-Publish."
